Valeri was not a lazy sort of girl - she liked to be up, active, moving making something happen, especially if that something was drama. But on that groggy summer day, she didn't feel like doing anything; the sun was just so hot, and the air was so thick, and there was so little water...water! That was it! She could use her powers, finally, to do something other than drench someone else to make them lose a battle; big whoop. Instead, she could go down to the watering hole and drench herself!
Padding along, as close to skipping as wolves could get, bathed in child-like glee, Valeri made her way along, inspecting the grass carefully. It's getting browner... She thought, pondering. Now, how could I make some drama out of that? It was the sad truth; Valeri often spent her days thinking of how she could making something dramatic, and sometimes it was more of a consuming obsession than just part of her personality. Well, it would give her a great reason to drench someone...
At the thought, Valeri nearly screeched with glee; what a way to wake someone up in the middle of the afternoon! Take water and drench them with it, why, wouldn't that be fun? And then she could start a full out battle, and come stumbling back to her leader, complaining of the pack who had done this to her...why, just by causing drama, she could start a full out war!
