I'm Still Here. It is a requirement you read, understand and abide the following rules. If once broken, you will be warned. If rules are broken once more, you may be banned... so watch yourself. Now, pay close attention ;P
Out Of Characterone; Everyone on this site should be treated equally. It does not matter if the member is new to the site or a legendary loyal member, all are treated with respect and welcoming thoughts. If a member is harassed, those harassing that member will face consequences. The staff will not tolerate this nor will they take any crap from the members, so keep that in mind also.
two; Theft. We do NOT tolerate THIEVES. If you are caught stealing personal quotes, graphics, character information, anything off of this site, or even a whole character to use elsewhere, you will be in for more trouble than you would wish to have. We take great care in creating things and it pisses us off when someone steals something you’ve worked so hard on. So, no STEALING of any kind!!!
three; We require at least 200 words per post. Nothing shorter. If you're having trouble with meeting this requirement, try adding more descriptions; such as whats happening around the character, add what they are currently thinking, give their opinion on whats going on in the current topic. Some of us have a habit of creating long posts because we enjoy it, so please, do not complain if you have to read a long post, that’s just stupid.
three; Everyone who joins are expected to be active at least once a week or more; if you cannot get on at least that much, then please warn us. We understand that with school, jobs and daily happenings sometimes even this cannot happen. So just tell us and everything will be alright.
four; Avatars, Tables and Signatures are allowed. Avatars are to be no larger than 100 by 200 pixels. Signatures and Tables should NOT stretch the board and should be centered on the page, if not it just looks gross. Also! Don't let it get too long, if it starts to look tacky, I will let you know. And please! NO animated images, only still images.
five; Please do not argue with the any of the Admins or Staff (doesn't matter which rank) when they ask you to change something. We are only trying to improve things and nothing more. Don't take it personal. If we ask you to change something with your character Bio, then that’s what we expect. So please, there is no need for over reacting, and or getting angry.
six; NO COPYING! of any sort. This includes taking anything from anybody elses past, anything about their characters, or even the whole idea for this site. If we find out about you doing anything of the sort it could result in temporary suspension. If more then once, being completely banned. This may sound harsh, but we know how frustrating it is when somebody copies you as it does take a lot of time to come up with character information.
seven; No Fighting! This is for Out of Character posts only. Hell we don't care if you fight in character because hey, it’s your characters. We really don't need fighting it always ends bad and puts others in a bad mood, and makes the whole Role-play experience sucky. This counts for OOC posts, and in the C-Box. If your temper gets too out of control, step outside, or you will be reprimanded.
eight; There is no "chat speak" allowed on here. Certain things are okay, such as; brb, gtg, bbs, those are is all fine and dandy. You can only say things such as this in the C-Box and out of character- NEVER in character. But never do this; "how r u 2day? l8tr" it is never acceptable or okay in any way.
nine; When you create your character, you must properly label their profile. The Subject must be the character Name and sex! No fancy additions to make it look pretty. Just First and, if they have one, Last name. Along with M / F. Nice and simple. If it's still being worked on and you go ahead and post it, simply put "-WIP-" in the title; though make sure not to keep it that way too long. (example: Freedom - M)
ten; If your rank In Game increases or decreases, please Private Message an Admin and/or the Alpha of your pack and let them know of the change so we can edit things for you, and in the records. Make sure that everything in your characters profile, and their journal (if they have one) is up to date! If you do have a journal, make sure that is up to date, and the Character Profile is not as big of a deal.
eleven; Last but not least. Just have fun. Once you get into it, it all gets interesting. This is all a game, don't take it too seriously or too lightly, just have fun with it and enjoy your time here.
In Characterone; No Godmoding, or Power Playing. Though very mild versions of each can occur. If in a fight, you cannot dodge every hit, though one now and again is fine. Moving another character aside slightly, is fine, pushing a little, is fine, but nothing over the top. Just be fair about it all and you’ll be alright. If you have something major in mind then get permission of the owner of a character your role-playing with first.
two; If a thread is brought upon with sexual meaning and or anything to graphic, this is not allowed. This is a major rule some sites leave unnoticed, we do want you to express your wolves' desires for each other, yet use your imagination to make it interesting. Posting of extreme adult situations are not allowed by proboards TOS.
three; Cursing is allowed, and we really don't care how much you do it. Just, not every other word unless your character is actually speaking it. Please.
four; Fighting may take place anywhere in the land. If you can not decide who the winner is- ask a staff member to help. As for Pack Rank fights- you must post a thread about the fight in the 'Plot' board. Every staff member must vote for the winner in a Pack Alpha battle. If you characters are fighting for anything other than an Alpha of a pack- the person who role plays the Alpha will decide the outcome of a fight, if there is a tie.
five; Liquid time is allowed, yes. Just make sure that you don't have so many threads going that you forget about them. I suggest you make folders in your favorites, and check each thread every day- that way you don't miss any (that's what I do). If someone hasn't replied to a thread in a while- send your partner a PM to remind them. Also, in each thread, make sure somewhere in your writing you tell where exactly in time this is taking place.
six; Keeping species on a even ratio. Perhaps you like wolves more than Hyenas? You may have up to
two of each species until it is required you make another. This can be an easy problem to avoid. We don't need 100 wolves' running around while there is only a handful of hyenas', see what I'm getting at? 2 of the same species = 1 different specie the next character you make.
seven; Yes humans live in this era, NO there is no interaction between the species and humans. As far as the plot goes, the humans aren't even aware of this island. Very unlikely that would happen to today's technology, yes but this is role playing & its our world. So reality can get over that.
eight; FOXES are limited to those who can create them. This species has been added to I'm Still Here under certain circumstances. Apparently, many members wish to have foxes. Considering I allowed them on the site, there is consequences. You must have above 75 posts before creating a Fox character. A staff member is allowed one before other requirements. If a member wins an OTM, they are rewarded with being able to make a fox. If wish for a fox before the requirements, you must PM me and we can discuss it.
nine; There are quite a few "no-no's" on here. They are simple enough to follow.
- No Perfect Characters! Every wolf has their faults, every wolf has their strengths- this is even listed on the application.
- No Half Breeds- without permission that is. If you want to have a character cross bred with another animal- PM the Staff and see what they say.
- Keep to plot- for the most part. What I mean is, each breed has their own element. We can not have a dozen of one breed running around and having all these different elements. The Maned Wolves are Fire Breathers, so on and so forth. Of course, sometimes you just have this awesome idea for a character and it doesn't fit with the elements a certain breed has. You may PM a staff and talk to us about it- but be warned there may be only one or two of these creatures running around the island at any one time. So better make your plea convincing!
Chat Boxone; No Advertising. Not for our site, or any other site. If you have a question and you need to talk with a staff member, that is okay. Just don't go around boosting up about how amazing and awesome your site is.
two; Guests are totally welcome to chat in the Cbox as well as ask questions about I'm Still Here. You aren't welcome forever though, sorry. If you like us and want to talk to us, make a character and join us! Please do not ask "Is this site active?" though. I know it is a common thing to ask, but instead look around the site and the users for your answer.
three; No fighting. The same as up above, if you need to vent then go ahead and vent to a staff member. Do not abuse the privilege! If you and whoever you are fighting with really feel the need to argue- do it over PM.
four; Please do not post any extremely inappropriate images in the Cbox. If the picture you're linking and wanting to show could contain something offensive, give a warning about it. Simple as that. Some people really don't want to see some of the things you can find on the Internet.
